The Challenge

The space needed to serve a different users, the aviation crew on tight rotation schedules who require genuine, restorative rest while reflecting Flybird’s brand identity without feeling corporate or cold. Balancing brand expression with comfort, and privacy between shared bedrooms, were the core design problems to solve.

The Solution

A restrained palette of blue, white, beige, and gold creates a calm baseline throughout. Chrome accents and matte finishes bring in FlyBird’s polished identity without visual noise. Soft furnishings and layered textiles manage acoustics naturally, creating separation between spaces. Aviation-inspired motifs and custom framing carry the brand story subtly across surfaces.

Each of the three bedrooms holds its own character; deep blue tones and structured detailing in Bedrooms One and Three, and a softer, more intimate feel in Bedroom Two, while a shared aquamarine bedframe palette keeps the suite cohesive. The living and dining areas are designed as genuine decompression zones, not just functional rooms.

The Impact

FlyBird's crew now have a space that actually works for the way they live on rotation during their time in Lagos,  comfortable, quiet, and considered. The suite reflects the airline's identity in a way that feels natural rather than imposed, giving the brand a physical presence that crew can genuinely feel at home in.
